Brief Introduction to China-Arab States Expo 2015
China-Arab States Expo 2015 is to be held from September 10 to 13, 2015 in Yinchuan,
Ningxia. The theme of the Expo is to “Carry forward the Silk Road Spirit, Deepen China-Arab
States Cooperation”. Relevant activities such as conferences, forums, match-making meetings
as well as exhibitions and shows which focus on jointly building Silk Road Economic Belt in
terms of economic and trade, information, science and technology, agriculture, health, tourism,
culture, etc.. Jordan, as the “Guest Country of Honor” of the Expo, will jointly hold the serial
activities with the Chinese sponsors in the fields of economic and trade, investment, tourism,
culture and so on.
I. Opening Ceremony and Serial Activities of the "Guest Country of Honor"
The Opening Ceremony is cosponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China, China
Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the People’s Government of Ningxia Hui
Autonomous Region. It is planned to invite a Chinese national leader to announce the opening
and deliver a keynote speech.
The serial activities of Jordan, the Guest Country of Honor, include the Exhibition of
Jordanian Pavilion, China-Jordan Economic and Trade Forum & China-Jordan Enterprise
Matchmaking Meeting, Jordan Investment Promotion Meeting, Jordan Tourism Promotion
Meeting & Project Signing Ceremony, Jordanian Art Performance, etc..
II. Conferences and Forums
China-Arab States Industry and Commerce Summit
is intended to carry out dialogues and
project matchmaking on industry and commerce and to strengthen the practical cooperation
between China and Arab states in the fields of funding, technology, resources, trade, etc..
Online Silk Road Forum,
focusing on the strategy of “Silk Road Economic Belt” and “21st
Century Maritime Silk Road”, is to discuss on the prospects of the cyberspace governance,
development of e-commerce and cloud computing and service technologies.
China-Arab States Technology Transfer & Innovation Cooperation Conference
includes
the technological matchmaking between China and Arab states in the fields of nuclear power
industry, space satellite, new energy and high-speed railway, and unveiling ceremony of China-
Arab States Technology Transfer Center, aiming at promoting international scientific innovation
and cooperation.
China-Arab States Agricultural Symposium
includes the symposium and academic
exchanges on China-Arab States cooperation on food safety, agricultural science & technology,
water saving, desert control and so on, which is targeted to push forward the project cooperation
of modern agriculture and promote the exchanges and transformation of agricultural science
and technology.
China-Arab States Health Cooperation Forum
is to discuss the medical and health
cooperation modes between China and Arab states , build the platform for modern pharmacy,
traditional medicine and medical products and promote the practical cooperation between
China and Arab states.
China-Arab States Tour Operators Conference
focuses on connecting tourist lines,
product promotion, project negotiation and other serial activities, intending to push forward the
cooperation and exchanges between China and Arab states in tourism.

is to exhibit cloud computing and application; exhibition of cross-border e-commerce, etc..

is to exhibit the scientific
achievements on China’s nuclear power industry, space satellite, new energy, high speed
railway, mechanical equipment, etc..
China-Arab States Culture and Arts Week
includes “Silk Road• Golden Bridge” Art
Performance, Intercontinental Folk Arts Show and Jordanian Art Performance, etc..
China-Arab States Modern Agriculture Exhibition & China (Ningxia) Horticultural
Exhibition
will exhibit new agricultural technologies and achievements.
